Mobile mammography trailer stopping in Valleyview in October

Women in Valleyview will soon have access to mammography screening as the Alberta Health Services Screen test program will be in the municipality next month. The mobile mammography trailer will be stationed at the Valleyview Health Centre from October 18th to 21st, and anyone interested in booking an appointment can do so by calling 1-800-667-0604.

AHS has been running the screen test program for several years as a way to improve access to cancer screening for hundreds of women in northern Alberta communities where mammography is not readily available.
