A regional sports hub will have a new name for the next five years, as the grandstand and turf at the Community Knowledge Campus will be known as Hansen Lincoln Field.
This after a naming rights agreement was agreed upon between the city, who owns the facility, and Hansen Lincoln.
Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton says the municipality is excited to create another naming rights partnership, which she believes always creates a buzz when it comes to facility use.
“These partnerships create a positive impact on our community and help promote active lifestyles and a strong quality of life for residents in Grande Prairie,” she adds.
The facility, according to the city, sees about 125,000 spectators use the grandstands every year.
