A new clinic has been announced for the community of Peace River.
The province has allocated up to $5 million for the new Peace River Family Care Clinic, which will provide services dealing with chronic disease management, addiction, maternal health, and mental health assistance.
The clinic will be built by Northern Sunrise County on donated land near the existing Peace River Community Health Centre.
It is set to open in December 2016.
