Today is big day for local hockey coach Matt Keillor: he has been announced as the Head Coach for the ATB Alberta Cup northwest team, as well as for the Ernie’s Sports Experts Major Midget AAA Storm next season.
Keillor has spent the last year as head coach of the Global Bus Lines Bantam AAA Storm, and says he looks forward to pushing and challenging his new team.
Joining him on the Alberta Cup roster are five local players: Paycen Bjoklund and Austin Schellenberg from Grande Prairie, Cole Basnett from Fairview, Logan Moon from Beaverlodge, and Eric Sorenson from Grimshaw.
