Bail granted for Grande Prairie man charged with first degree murder

After spending 8 months in custody, bail has been granted to 22 year Shane Gregory Babitsch.

The Grande Prairie man was charged with first degree murder in February in connection to the disappearance of Courtney Johnstone.

The 26 year old woman was found shortly after in the Aquatera landfill.

Babitsch will be back in court in February for a preliminary hearing.
