Starting Tuesday, Lakeland Drive between 116 Avenue and 95 Street will be under construction. Crews will be grinding off the top layer of pavement, and during that time the road will stay open.
However, the second phase will mean shutting down alternating sections of the road. Work will be done in sections, putting in new curbs, repairing catch basins, and replacing culverts, along with paving.
Signs will be up to direct both traffic and pedestrians, and drivers are asked to be careful around workers. The project is expected to be done by early September.
