The Grande Prairie Firefighters Charitable Foundation will be sitting on the roof of a downtown business to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
With a goal of $10,000, the fire fighters will be on top of Better Than Fred’s from noon on Friday, April 28th until noon on Monday, May 1st. This is the second annual Muscular Dystrophy Rooftop Campout.
The goal for the weekend is separate from the money that the group recently raised. Over $6,000 through their Buck for Luck campaign in March. They were taking donations at local businesses as well as selling shamrock tattoos.
