Children will have a chance to try a variety of sports at an upcoming Try-It Day. The Grande Prairie Sport Council has registration open for the event on May 1st.
The kids will have an opportunity to try sports from parkour to rugby all in one day. There were over 500 people registered last year.
Online registration opens at 8:00 am.
The event is free and it will run at various places around the region. It will run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Eastlink Centre, Crosslink County Sportsplex , Gymnastics Centre, Maude Clifford, Coca-Cola Centre, Komodo Academy, A.P.E. Dojo and Tien Lung, Heiho Dojo, and South Bear Creek.
It will be held June 3rd, 2017.
