The Northern Alberta Development Council is looking for eight more bodies to sit at the table with them. Minister Deron Bilous says they can be any age and he encourages even young people to jump in to take on the challenge. He hopes that by making an announcement at Growing the North there may be a few people whose interest is spiked.
MLA Debbie Jabour of Peace River has been named the Chair of the council. This makes up the two people from the peace country on the council right now. Brian Allen from Grimshaw is the Vice-Chair. Council members from Fort McMurray to Athabasca regions and all over the province also sit on the council.
The recruitment announcement comes as current and upcoming openings come available.
