The smell of weed has led to another drug bust during a traffic stop. The Peace River Integrated Traffic Unit was doing patrols in that town on Valentine’s Day.
One vehicle pulled over smelled strongly of marijuana and a further search turned up drugs. Two people were arrested and charges are pending against them.
They include possession of a controlled substance, three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property and obstruction. To top it off they’re being charged for having open liquor in the vehicle and breaching conditions.
