Bezanson school gets expansion

Bezanson school will have new spaces for children to learn come this fall. Peace Wapiti School Division will get three new modulars for their school in the hamlet.

One of them is to address the influx of students while the other two are replacements. They will go in place of ones built in 1976 and 1988 as the average lifespan of portables are about 25 years.

$12,000 will also be provided by Alberta Education for furniture and equipment for each classroom.

Peace Wapiti School Division Facilities Director David Michalko says the new classrooms will be ready for the new school year.
