Starting May 1st, you are going to have to watch for “Tree Work Ahead” signs around the city. The beginning of May will bring the Park Operations to work on city-owned trees which will adress any trees that have possible hazards. The focus of the Spring and Summer Tree Pruning Program will focus this year on Ash, poplar, cherry, and dead trees.
City Arborists will perform an assessment to decide what kind of pruning each tree needs. Included in the assessment will be pedestrian and vehicle clearance.
