The St. Joe’s Celtics have earned silver at the Football Alberta tier II provincials. They team fell 69 to 15 to the Foothill Falcons at the Alberta Bowl in Edmonton Saturday.
The loss snaps a 30 game win streak for the Celtics, who won the provincial title last year. In a tweet, Grande Prairie Catholic School District Superintendent Karl Germann congratulated the team and coach Trevor Prichard on their “grit, drive and determination.”
