Two simultaneous stabbings in Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie RCMP is handling two stabbing incidents that happened at the same time Thursday night.

Around 8 p.m., a man was found bleeding profusely from his arm at the Westgate shopping centre. The 25 year old was taken to hospital with non-threatening injuries, and there are no suspects at this point.

Over at the Muskoseepi Trails, another man was found bleeding from a stab wound after a fight with two other men. The 26 year old from Lloydminster was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One suspect in that case is described as native and roughly 40 years old, and the other is Caucasian, in his early 20s. Both were wearing jeans.
